First Time at the Piano

Ready for Recital
Wants to perform. Kiera prepares students with repertoire selection, polish, and the stage presence to shine in front of an audience.

What ages do you teach?
Heartland Piano serves students ages 6 through 18.
When can my child start?
Kiera is currently accepting new students for lessons beginning August 2026. Submit the interest form to reserve a spot — Kiera will reach out personally with available times.
Do students need a piano at home?
Regular practice between lessons is essential to progress, so students should have access to a piano or full-size keyboard at home for daily practice.
Where are lessons held?
All lessons are in-person at Kiera's studio in the Del Lago neighborhood of Tulare, California. The exact address is shared with enrolled families.
What if my child has never played before?
That's wonderful — Kiera specializes in beginners. Every student is met exactly where they are, with no prior experience required.
Are recitals required?
No. Recital preparation is offered for students who want to perform, but it's never required. Some students simply love to play, and that's just as celebrated.
